On view throughout the Museum are an especially varied range of objects, images, and room-sized installations, including masterworks by some of the most influential artists of the past forty years, along with an impressive number of recently acquired works by emerging artists. Open Ends includes eleven distinct exhibitions and ten large-scale works and installations that examine key themes and lines of affinity that define contemporary art and artists. The exhibition opens in three stages. Architecture Hot and Cold presents a wide range of images of architecture principally of drawn from the Museum’s collections cat of photographs and architectural drawings. The exhibition includes picture works by architects including Archigram and Rem Koolhaas are shown alongside the photography of Andreas Gursky and Robert Adams, for example, as well as works in different media by artists such as Gordon Matta-Clark, Andy Warhol, and Joel Shapiro.

Art on the Net came into existance in June of 1994. The idea cat of having such a site came to Lile while she was involved in an open studios event in April. She was displaying many of her new oil paintings in her studio when a friend picture and young entrepeneur of came through cat and wanted to purchase picture an oil painting entitled "Art on the Net". They talked about how wonderful it would be of to have art up on the Internet for viewing and he offered Lile internet access for a WWW site cat that would help artists share their art. So like many things in the art world, the site began with a barter with Lile trading the oil painting, "Art on the Net" for an Internet connection for one year.
